Bootcut formal pants for men are fitted through the hip and thigh and open slightly from the knee, so the hem sits neatly over your shoes. Davanchy's bootcut trousers are designed and finished in Jaipur, in black, grey, navy, cream, white, burgundy and green, with high-waist, pleated, flat-front and Gurkha-style options for office, parties and weddings.

Bootcut trousers at a glance

Bootcut vs straight vs flare – which should you buy?

• Straight fit: same width from knee to hem. Safe, but plain.
• Bootcut: slight opening from the knee. Looks formal enough for office, adds shape and balances broad shoulders or a fuller thigh.
• Flare / bell-bottom: much wider hem for a bold retro look. See our flare pants.

How to style bootcut formal pants

• Office: black, grey or navy bootcut with a tucked-in white or light-blue shirt, leather belt and Oxfords or loafers.
• Party: black or burgundy bootcut with a fitted black shirt or a knit polo and Chelsea boots.
• Wedding: white or cream high-waist bootcut with a Nehru jacket or a printed shirt.
• Tip: keep the top fitted so the opening at the hem stands out, and choose shoes with a slim profile so the trouser falls cleanly over them.

Fit and length

Most of our bootcut trousers come in a standard 42-inch length and are meant to fall over the top of the shoe. Where a product shows a “Pant Length” option, you can choose a custom length for ₹100 extra. Check the size chart on each product page; if you are between two sizes, message us on WhatsApp and we will help you pick.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are bootcut pants still in style for men?

Yes. After years of skinny and slim fits, bootcut and flared trousers are firmly back in menswear. A bootcut is fitted through the thigh and opens slightly from the knee, so it looks sharp, balances your proportions and is more comfortable than a slim fit.

What is the difference between bootcut and flare pants?

A bootcut opens gently from the knee so the hem just sits over your shoes — subtle enough for office wear. Flare (bell-bottom) pants widen much more dramatically for a bold 70s look. See our flare pants if you want the statement version.

Are bootcut formal pants good for office wear?

Yes. Choose dark shades like black, navy or grey, wear them with a tucked-in formal shirt and leather shoes, and they look as professional as regular formal trousers.

Which shoes go best with bootcut trousers?

Chelsea boots, loafers and formal Oxfords all work well. The bootcut hem is designed to fall neatly over the top of the shoe, so avoid very chunky sneakers that bunch the fabric.

Do bootcut pants suit short men?

Yes, if you choose a high-waist bootcut and keep the hem just touching the shoe. The higher rise and longer leg line make you look taller. Avoid extra length that bunches at the ankle.

What is the length of the pant? Can it be altered?

Most of our pants come in a standard 42-inch length. On products that show a “Pant Length” option, you can choose a custom length on the product page for an extra ₹100.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days and usually reach you within 3–6 business days after dispatch, anywhere in India. Shipping is free on all orders of ₹1,000 and above.

Is Cash on Delivery (COD) available?

Yes. You can pay by UPI/online or choose Cash on Delivery. A ₹200 COD charge is added at checkout for COD orders.

Can I return or exchange if the size doesn't fit?

Yes. You can request a return or a size exchange within 7 days of delivery, as long as the pant is unworn, unwashed and has its original tags. Sale items are not eligible for return. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 8769011120 with your order number to start.
